This piece centers on a larger hand-stitched protection pouch constructed from layered reclaimed textiles in deep earth reds and shadowed tones. A soft feather accent rests across the surface, while beadwork and suspended elements fall beneath like low-hanging drift along a shoreline.
 
The pouch measures approximately 4 inches long by 3.5 inches wide and contains a polished smoky quartz stone traditionally associated with grounding, energetic steadiness, and protective containment.
 
Unlike the intertwined fabric strap styles, Tide features an adjustable leather cord, allowing the piece to sit higher at the collarbone or lower at the heart. The movement of the lower beads and stone creates a subtle sense of flow — protection expressed not as rigidity, but as rhythm.
Tide carries the archetype of water as boundary — not a wall, but a current that knows where it begins and ends.
 
Each Protection Pouch Necklace is assembled slowly and intuitively from layered reclaimed textiles, leather cord, mixed beads, metal findings, and feather accents. Raw edges, visible stitching, and layered fibers are intentional aspects of the design.
