Spirit Bottle No. I is a one-of-a-kind altered vessel constructed from a recycled whiskey bottle and transformed through layered mixed media processes.
The glass form is wrapped in reclaimed paper, textile, leather, and thread. The neck is densely bound with woven trim, colorful fibers, feather accents, and found metal detail — creating a vertical sculptural presence that feels both ceremonial and contemporary.
The bottle top opens, allowing it to function as a true vessel if desired — able to hold dried stems, small objects, or remain sealed as a relic form.
This piece embodies transformation: discarded glass reimagined as artifact. Built through accumulation, wrapping, and material dialogue.
One of a kind. The first in a developing series.
