A one-of-a-kind Declaration Anchor mounted on an expansive 18-inch span of foraged driftwood and layered with eco-dyed textiles and gathered botanical elements.
This piece feels elemental.
Quiet.
Self-held.
The wide driftwood base creates strong horizontal grounding, giving the work structural presence within a space. A thick brown leather panel adds weight and solidity, offering a firm foundation beneath layered materials.
Blueberry eco-dyed fabric has been hand-cut into leaf forms and layered with berry-toned textile, creating organic movement and depth. Faux eucalyptus leaves mingle with rust and cream pampas grass, while a real male sage leaf is incorporated into the composition — adding botanical integrity and earth-bound texture.
The phrase “The Earth and I Alone” reads less as instruction and more as stance — a return to solitude, to land, to self without audience.
Declaration Anchors are spatial reinforcement objects. They hold language in material form, stabilizing identity and chosen truth within a room. When placed in a home, studio, or private corner, they subtly alter the emotional field by anchoring steadiness and self-containment.
Each piece is created intuitively, allowing material and declaration to guide the final form.
One of a kind.
