The Expectant Siren - A portrait of serenity, intuition, and sacred becoming.

For Molly’s session, I envisioned a freshwater siren in her most powerful season—pregnancy as myth, motherhood as tide, her body carrying both life and legend. She moved with a natural calm, settling into the shoreline as if the earth itself had made a cradle for her.

Her palette was soft and luminous: gentle greens, sea-washed teals, and the quiet bloom of violet scales. I wrapped her growing belly in airy textiles that caught the wind like whispers, honoring the life she carries with a touch that felt both delicate and deeply symbolic. Her crown—woven with natural textures and lake-found inspiration—completed her transformation into a siren resting between worlds.

Amanda Anderson photographed her with exquisite tenderness, capturing the way Molly’s presence glowed against the earth and water. Every frame feels like a prayer of stillness—the kind spoken by waves to the shore.

She is the serene siren of the North: grounded, glowing, and held by the rhythm of new life rising within her.
