Mother Earth: Mixed Media “Magick Experience” was a community art exhibition honoring Earth Day and celebrating eco-conscious creativity.
Presented by the Boulder Junction Public Library as part of their “Art in the Library” series, this collection featured Shelley Novotny’s handcrafted, earth-inspired creations rooted in slow fashion, recycled materials, and sustainable design. The exhibit centered on reverence for Mother Earth — blending wearable art, mixed media elements, and symbolic storytelling.
This body of work invited viewers to reflect on their relationship with the natural world and to experience fashion and art as vessels for environmental awareness, embodiment, and creative transformation.
