Project North is a celebration of creative expression, sustainability, and soulful style—born from the wild heart of the Northwoods. This collection features wearable art and immersive fashion experiences showcased at Project North Festival, where music, culture, and environmental stewardship converge.

At the heart of Project North Festival, Connecting Threads invited participants of all ages to co-create a living tapestry of string, story, and spirit. Anchored by found wood, a picnic table, and a palette of vibrant yarns, this interactive sculpture grew organically throughout the day—woven by dozens of hands into a cocoon of color.

Each strand added represented a moment of play, presence, or expression—a tactile symbol of how we’re all part of something larger. Children crawled under the canopy, friends knotted yarns together, and strangers became collaborators in a shared act of joyful creation. The installation became both a web and a witness—documenting connection in real time.

Rooted in reclaimed materials and guided by the belief that art belongs to everyone, Connecting Threads turned public space into sacred space—where weaving became a ritual, and community became the art.
